Fire District 2 is looking for Volunteer Firefighters, EMT's and Community Response Team Members
Thank you for your interest in our Volunteer programs. Membership as a volunteer can be a very rewarding and a satisfying experience. The volunteers of Mason County Fire District 2 are devoted towards a common goal, helping people in need. You may find it interesting to see just how diverse our members are. Their reasons vary for joining the program from wanting a career in fire service or a need to give back to the community. We applaud your desire to further your training by volunteering in our community and we look forward to meeting you.
As a Firefighter of Firefighter/EMT requires a great deal of responsibility. Along with all of the federal and state training requirements , this Department has high expectations for the role of firefighter. This position requires a great deal of dedications and time, but with that comes some of the greatest personal rewards imaginable. When you earn the badge as a firefighter you know that it is something to be proud of.

Volunteer applications are processed twice a year; December/January and in June/July.
Testing for Resident Firefighter is held in December and in June.
