"Neighbors Helping Neighbors"

Since its inception, Mason County Fire District #2 has prided itself in helping our community. In 1946, a band of citizens, (neighbors) in the community of Belfair, created what was known as the Belfair Volunteer Fire Department.

That same fire department has evolved into an outstanding organization of volunteer and professional firefighters, EMT's, paramedics and Community Response Teams who are "neighbors". These same men and women continue to respond, all hours of the day and night, to aid citizens (neighbors) in distress, and to insure the safety and well being of their community. The same as they did in 1946
