Jeromy Hicks originally joined Mason County Fire District 2 in 1999. He came from the Maple Valley area where he graduated Tahoma High School in 1997. He served as a fire explorer for the City of Tukwilla, and a volunteer Firefighter for the City of Black Diamond. In 1999 he went to Bates Technical College were he completed his career fire academy. Shortly after in 2000 Jeromy started Paramedic School in southern Washington. Graduating in 2001 he joined the Fire District's career ranks as a Firefighter Paramedic. He has served as the districts communications program manager, CRT coordinator, and on new vehicle committees. In 2008 Jeromy moved from field operations to Fire Prevention. He currently serves as the District's Community Outreach Coordinator providing Inspections, Education, and Fire Investigations. Among his busy schedule he also chairs the Mason County Trauma and EMS council, and remains on the 4 county EMS protocol committee. Both him and his wife along with there son are proud to call Belfair their home.
