Two of our newest members graduate from the Fire Academy.  Daniel Baker and Nick Morgan have recently finished their three plus month academy in North Bend, Washington.  Both  North Mason residents, Nick and Daniel have been with our department just under a year and consider this their career goal.   During this academy essential firefighting skills we taught including fire suppression, search and rescue, hazardous material, and ladder operations.  Obtaining an national certification (IFSAC) for firefighter 1 they are well on their way to reaching their career goal.  Both receiving honors in the academy, Nick received the "Chiefs Company Award".  This award is limited to the top members of the academy, and given out to those that the Chief would hand pick for his company.  Daniel received the "Bull Dog Award".  This is voted on weekly by the class instructors for performance, teamwork, and dedication.  Please join us in congratulating Nick and Daniel on a job well done, we are happy to have them as part of your fire team.
