Mason County Fire District 2 was honored to participate in the annual Relay for Life event held at the North Mason High School.  This year we provided hot fire house chili and corn bread to the hundreds of cancer crusaders.  Fire District 2 was on hand to showcase our newest addition to our fleet, a 2010 Pierce Contender Fire Engine.  Children were also treated to pencils, fire hats and stickers.  Community members were informed of the many public education and safety functions that Fire District 2 provides.  This event was staffed with both on and off duty firefighters that all were happy to lend a hand for a great cause.
