Mason County Fire District 2 :: Paramedic Receives County EMS Award

Congratulations go out to Firefighter/Paramedic Jess Fulkerson. On Saturday August 20, 2011 after months of voting the winner of the coveted Martha Reed EMS Provider of the Year award was presented to Jess. Doctor Hoffman presented the award on behalf of Mason County EMS and Trauma Care Council, the governing body in Mason County providing EMS direction to all responders. Votes were cast by all EMS responders in the County whether paid, volunteer, Paramedic, EMT, or First Responder. Among other runners up Jess was voted by his peers to show a fantastic attitude, excellent patient care, and phenomenal EMS leadership skills. With hundreds of responders in Mason County who were in the running, we should all congratulate Jess on a job well done.
